Supply Chain

Every year, Syngenta Flowers produces over 500 million cuttings and over five million grams of seeds. Two out of three employees in Syngenta Flowers work in Supply Chain.

We continuously work on having the most reliable supply and the highest possible quality and consistency for both seeds and cuttings.

Striving for unrivalled young plant quality, we developed a unique certification program for our vegetative and propagated lines which guarantees the cleanest starting materials possible.

Our main production sites are located in Kenya, Ethiopia and Guatemala.

Health, Safety and Environmental Protection

We take Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) matters very seriously and work hard to foster a caring culture wherever we operate. Syngenta has a policy in place to ensure responsible management of all its activities including safe working conditions for every employee. We carry out regular risk assessments to identify gaps and take the necessary measures to fill them.

Our flower production sites are among the safest in the industry with continuous training efforts for employees and trained HSE coordinators on site.
